What is Seperating of the church and pronounce trying to accomplish? Is it to provide freedom of religon as swell up as freedom from religon? Well havent weve had that since the Founding Fathers wrote the constitusion. Truth be told it doesnt accomplish anything but restrict the rights of the people.
Resolved:
For this reasons and those that will follow, I stand firmly against the resolution that Democracy is best severd by a strict seperation of the church and call down.

Terms: For clarification in todays arguing, I offer the following terms and defintions form the American Heritage Dictionary and Dictionary.com
Deocracy: Government by the people, exercised either like a shot or through elected representatives. Also the principles of social comparison and respect for the individual within a community.
Lockean Democracy: a form of democracy in which individual rights ar the elemental focus of the society.
State: The supreme public power within a sovereign political entity
Religon: a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and employment of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman commission or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

My value for todays debate shall be the First Amendment, because the government is narrowing the peoples First Amendment right by having the wall of seperation.

Criterion:
My criteron for todays debate shall be a Lokean Democracy. Democracy is best served when the rights of the people are met and up hold.

Contention 1: It would impossible to seperate the church and state.
The church has been intergrated with the state since the begining of time. Our Founding Fathers when forming our country were hevely influenced by God.
