Everyone has at least one person around you who is racist. My naan is racist against Chinese or Korean because she is Japanese charr who was born during 1920s. People make an excuse for them just because they are old and that was how they were raised. In the movie Gran Tori none Walt Kowalski is a retired American Ford automobile assembly line worker and Korean War veteran, haunted by those memories of that conflict. He is the only unclouded guy left in his neighborhood, and he is irritated by his neighborhood dominated by immigrants. This movie portrays how Walk Kowalski changes from wild racist etiolated grandpa into old softie, who eventu onlyy sacrifices himself to hold dear this Hmong family.
What makes it so good ab kayoed this movie is that how racist white grandpa and teenage Hmong neighbors make a connection mingled with them. Walt was irritated by immigrants. He refused when the Asian doctor was essay to examine him. As the movie goes, the audiences are able to fall upon his changes in him. He sees this Hmong girl, Sue, being harassed by three black teenagers; he steps in to rescue her. When Walt perceive that Sues brother, Thao was beaten by Hmong gangs, he confronts and beat one of the Hmong gang member as a vengeance and tells them to leave Thao alone.



At the end of the movie, he sacrifices himself in raise to save Thao and Sue from them.
It is hard to say that I am not racist at all, and I believe that this is alike true for most of us. This is because how we are raised, and how we were taught in the history class. Of course, when the pass on comes to the war, learning that the other country killed people in your country, the sense of touch of anger naturally grows. Then, how can we stop people from being racist? Should we stop teaching history? The answer is no. It is important for us to learn history, to learn from our past mistake.
