Challenge in counseling

The profession of counseling has its ups and downs. It requires an iron mind to be a good peer counselor, youth counselor or even a marriage counselor. One major challenge in counseling is, understanding the problems that your patients or clients undergo in order to develop appropriate counseling strategies.

The counselor in any forum has to get into the mind of the patient; understand what exactly the patient is suffering from or is affected by. In the drug and substance abuse cases, there are various challenges that a counselor undergo in the process of trying to end the social epidemic.

Most drug users end up abusing drugs because of several reasons; while some are force into the practice due to peer pressure where they follow what they see their peers doing, some are driven by poverty or financial constraints. The need to belong to a given group of people often tends to act negatively on the people who desire to be like their counterparts.

A counselor therefore has to be aware of such facts; and to avoid judgment formation best on what they observe. The counselor therefore gets into the actual source of the decadence before offering solutions to the patient. In order to talk about the effects a social decadence, some counselors are often forced to take part in the deviance.

This becomes a challenge in that most of them for instance, end up as drug addicts because of the trying to feel the pain of the addict and to try to develop effective solutions.

Another challenge that counselors face is the attitude of the adolescents. Dealing with adolescents sometimes proves to be very difficult especially due to the rebelliousness of this age group.

Assisted dying assignment

When you are given an assisted dying assignmentyou are most likely being asked to give your contribution to the controversial debate that surrounds the issue of assisted dying. The US Supreme court in 1997ruled that individuals do not have the right within the US constitution to assisted dying. This ruling reversed two previous rulings that had allowed individuals to their requests for assisted dying honored by physicians. Even though the Supreme Court seemed to have overturned the decisions of two smaller courts, this did not mark the end of the assisted dying debate. As the supreme court decision was being read, Justice O’Connor noted that the court had concluded that there exists no generalized right to engage in any form of suicide and also that the constitution has no strict restriction over state laws and as such, there is still a possibility that states could create their own legislations to establish the right to engage in assisted dying. The court also indicated that the legislation that outlawed physician assisted suicide could still be challenged and overturned in future courts. Numerous legal experts who analyzed the decision of the Supreme Court stated that the Supreme Court recognized that the issue of assisted suicide is a very complicated one and that each case of assisted suicide has its own unique circumstances that surround it. In evaluation of each case therefore, each of these issues is to be evaluated separately. Simply put, the Supreme Court shifted the responsibility of making the decision of whether or not to allow assisted suicide to the individual states. It therefore seems like the legal battles surrounding assisted dying will continue.

An essay on my dreams

There are those instances when your English teacher wants to test just how good and fluent his students are at expressing themselves and their thoughts. During these times, the teacher usually hands out assignments that do not require researching, only the expression of one’s own thoughts. A good number of such essays are usually personals and unique to an individual a good example being an essay on my dreams. Such an essay can prove quite difficult to a student who is not so good at expressing themselves but this does not mean that one has to fail when handed such an assignment, especially for a student who knows of the existence of this website. If such a student were to come to the website for essay help, then the student would be guaranteed to receive a unique essay that would address the personal thoughts of that individual and would be written in a way that is unlike any other essay that has ever been written before. Below is a sample of a similar essay that was written by a student sometime ago for the sole purpose of helping other students master the art of writing creative essays. My dream in life is to one day become a professional Baduk player. Even though the game of Baduk is considered difficult by many people, when good players are observed playing the game, the scene is simply magical. Watching professional players engage in this game always makes me get even more obsessed with this lovely game. One of the things that make me respect the game of Baduk is the way the game teaches one to engage in a psychological war against one’ opponent and throughout the game , I am usually filled with an enormous amount of tension. It always feels like the game of Baduk has an invisible deeper inner world. As captivating as the game may sound, it is not at all times fun. I have on many occasions been narrated to explanations about the concept of the game but this does not mean that I understand who whole idea of everything that surround the game. Some aspects of the game are still very vague to me. There are some things about the game that are highly dynamic and this makes it difficult to cram these aspects of the game. My conception of the idea to one day become a respected professional player of Baduk comes from the deep affection that I have for the game. I really find it captivating to go through the tension filled moment as I want players battling out for a chance to win and the feeling I get when that player whom I support wins is simply unexplainable.

A day at the beach essay

Essays that touch on an occasion of a real life event or happening are easier to write as the writer either has a first hand information about the event and that makes it easy for one to write since the information is readily available in the writers mind and he does not have to waste time researching anything. For example a day at the beach essay is very entertaining and simple to write if the writer has ever gone to the beach. The writer can easily narrate every detail that took place on that day. but it would be a bit difficult for a person who lives in an area where the largest mass of water one has ever seen is a river then this writer will have to be creative and think about what the beach is like and the activities that one can do there. An essay about a day at the beach should show a chronological order of events what happened from the time the writer got to the bitch to the end of the day, this is important so that it does not confuse the reader of the essay. A step by step account of the happenings is very crucial and earns the writer a point for having a well arranged piece of work. One should start how they got to the beach what means they used to get there and what type of clothes they were wearing as one does not go to the beach wearing a suit. One should describe what they were doing there and with whom they were with to clarify the situation farther. One should explain what they did they go for a swim in the water or did they just sit down y the beach playing with the sand or if they went for diving. All this issues should be highlighted in a way that they paint a good mental picture to a person who has never even been top the beach. A good essay of such an event should be to be able to create an essay that is virtually alive and that makes the reader feel like as if they are already there at the beach themselves, it should aim at making the story lively and make the reader visualize the beach the writer is talking about. The work of such an essay is to paint the picture of the beach for anyone who reads the essay that is what a good essay about the beach should be all about.
